Loose Parts Area

It has been amazing watching the creativity shine through our new loose parts play space. There have been boats, houses, kitchens, obstacle courses, buses, caravans, and many more things created by kids in our school.   The children are learning to work together to share equipment, solve problems, communicate ideas, manage themselves, manage impulsivity, think interdependently, and talk about the steps taken to build their creations.  A huge thanks to our helpers who made this area possible, and to Mrs Butler who was the brains behind this awesome area for our tamariki.
