Moirs Point - Mangawhai

Our recent school camp was a highly successful and memorable experience for all involved. We were fortunate to begin with beautiful weather, making the most of the stunning grounds and outdoor facilities. Although we encountered some wet weather in the latter part of the camp, this did little to dampen spirits. Students embraced every opportunity with enthusiasm, from the ever-popular water slide to our engaging beach education activities, which were filled with smiling faces and meaningful learning. Surfing was a particular highlight, with many students building confidence in the water and demonstrating resilience as they challenged themselves in new ways. The food was excellent throughout the camp, keeping everyone well-fuelled for busy, active days.

Beyond the activities, the camp provided a valuable opportunity for friendships to be formed and strengthened. It was pleasing to see students supporting one another, stepping outside their comfort zones, and demonstrating overall positive behaviour across the week. Experiences such as these contribute significantly to personal growth and class cohesion. We extend our sincere thanks to our parent helpers, whose generosity and commitment made this camp possible. From providing transport and staying overnight to supporting activity groups and supervising students, their involvement was invaluable. We simply could not have delivered such a successful camp without their support. Many special memories were made, and we are proud of the way our students represented our school.
